You escape by dropping your rifle and running through a nearby hedge. The mummy lunges and grabs your shirt, but it tears and you escape. Upon your return to the cottage, the Doctor is furious you didn’t shoot the Gelignite.
All your effort is wasted. Worse, as the doctor is berating you, a robot mummy walks in with the Gelignite in its hands. It crushes the gelignite with its hands detonating it. You see a flash of light, that is the last thing you ever see. You are dead.
